(NECN) - Pakistani officials said they arrested a man who admitted to training Faisal Shahzad, the man accused in the failed Times Square bomb attempt.

Government officials said the man has ties to the Pakistani Taliban. American officials have described him as a facilitator for the group.

According to The Washington Post, U.S. officials said this suspect's story matches closely with that which Shahzad has told authorities.
