(NECN) - A vote of "no confidence" for Boston's Fire Chief.

The Boston Globe is reporting 13 of the city's 14 deputy fire chiefs signed a letter of "no confidence" in Steve Abraira over his handling of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Officials wrote that he failed to assume command responsibility at the scene on Apr. 15 or show any leadership.

The letter was sent to Mayor Menino's office last month.

A spokeswoman for Menino would only say that the mayor has quote full confidence in Commissioner Roderick Fraser to do what's best for the department.
