Bunker Hill Community College Stabbing Suspect Arrested

Police are investigating a stabbing inside a hallway at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood.

The stabbing happened Wednesday afternoon at the campus' B-building, college officials said on Twitter.

The victim was treated for minor injuries to his hand and later released, officials said. The stabbing suspect fled the area but was arrested by Massachusetts State Police around 4:15 p.m.

The identities of the victim and the suspect have not been released, but both are students.

The school said the victim is cooperating with state police, Boston police and campus police.

No other details were immediately available.

Meanwhile, students on campus were shocked by the incident.

"It's kind of scary, considering everything that has been going on with all the school shootings," one student said. "I feel kind of nervous, I guess."
