(NECN) -A local brewing company is honoring slain MIT police officer Sean Collier.

Cambridge Brewing Company is crafting a beer in colliers honor.

The brewing company's owner says he expects the first batch of "Collier Stout" to be brewed the end of this month.

The new Collier-inspired brew will be a dry Irish stout.

The beer will cost $.5.50 a pint and $1 from each sale will go to the memorial fund in Collier's honor.
