DraftKings CEO explains benefits of daily fantasy sports

(NECN) - The hottest thing in fantasy sports is the still relatively new daily fantasy games. Some big bucks are now involved.

DraftKings, based in Boston, just received $7 million in venture capital.

That company's CEO, Jason Robins, joined NECN Business to discuss that success.

"Fantasy sports is already a big business. Companies like Yahoo!, ESPN, CBS have been doing it for years. But the problem is even though there are a ton of sports fans, a lot of the fantasy sports market has been limited by the fact that it's such a big commitment."

DraftKings eliminates that limitation by allowing the user to play one day at a time and still have the opportunity to win money.
