(NECN) - Massachusetts State Police say two Braintree children who were taken by their father have been found safe in Connecticut.

Their father, 54-year-old Jon Lockwood, has been arrested.

Eight-year-old Patrick Nguyen and his 10-year-old sister, Sarah, were found at a 7-11 late last night in South Windsor, Conn. after authorities issued an Amber Alert.

Police say they caught Lockwood after a truck driver spotted his car.
