(NECN) -  A woman was killed and her two children injured after a three-car crash Saturday on the ramp from the Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound to Interstate 95 northbound in Weston, Mass., according to Mass. State Police.

State police said it was a mother who died and her two children sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The injured children were taken by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Police have not yet released the name of the woman who died.

The crash occurred at about 1 p.m. Saturday. The ramps from the Mass. Pike eastbound to I-95 northbound/southbound as well as from I-95 northbound to the Mass. Pike were temporarily closed, backing up traffic in the area.

By 4 p.m., the crash scene had been cleared and all roadways were open.
