(NECN) - Police are investigating a series of attacks on women this week in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood.

They say the three sexual assaults are similar and may be connected. All of the victims were approached from behind and assaulted.

Two were assaulted while trying to enter their homes. Another was knocked down while walking on the sidewalk.

Some women in the area say the assaults have them concerned.

Police have increased patrols in the area.
