(NECN) - Two auto shops in Boston have been shut down for a number of violations.
City officials say one of them may have an illegal bed that was used for prostitution.
Inspectors found numerous environmental and safety hazards at Sandman Auto Body shop on Washington Street and El Auto Repair on Dorchester Ave.
Behind that shop, they also found a box spring and mattress covered by a tarp.
Inspectors say that neighbors had seen prostitutes flowing in and out of that establishment.
No criminal charges have been filed.
