(NECN: Greg Wayland, Boston) – In 2010, Tim Tebow created the Tim Tebow Foundation. Its mission is to spread faith and love. The charity supports efforts to build playrooms for kids at U.S. hospitals. It supports kids with terminal illnesses in the US and it helps orphans and hospitalized kids in Asia.

But back to on-the field…what about the fans? Are they happy with the New England Patriots decision? Are they true believers in Tebow? Or are they just praying this signing doesn't blow up in the team's face?

For some fans, it’s Tebow Time, and especially so for the media.

For many Pats fans, Tebow will be measured by his potential to help the team and himself.

On where Tebow will fit into the Belichick master plan, that’s another matter. Don’t expect any help from Bill with that.

For some, Tebow’s arrival foreshadows Tom Brady’s departure.

Still others think it’s time for tootaloo, Tom, and hello, Tim!

As for the religious thing, several fans don’t see anything wrong with it.
