(NECN) - As the race for Massachusetts vacant Senate seat heats up, Congressman Ed Markey is bringing in the big guns for support.

President Obama is scheduled to campaign for Markey in Boston Wednesday.

The Commander-in-Chief and Congressman Markey will be in Roxbury for a campaign rally.

Tickets to the rally can be picked up today at several campaign offices.

They are free but will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis.

Last week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Guilianni was in town campaigning for Gabriel Gomez.
