(NECN: John Moroney - Boston, Mass.) - Even though the game is on the road, Boston officials are expecting quite the party if the Celtics win banner number 18.
NECN reporter John Moroney is outside the TD Garden with more on the precautions being taken, win or lose.
Boston Police are making sure they're prepared in case the Celtics clinch the title Tuesday night.
According to the Boston Herald, police will shut down streets around TD Garden and other popular bars Tuesday night.
Officials are also asking bar owners to do their part to make sure fans celebrate safely.
Back in 2008, a Celtics fan died after he was arrested during that championship celebration.
So far no scheduled plans for a victory parade.
