(NECN) - Tuesday is the final Mass. Senate debate between Democrat Ed Markey and Republican Gabriel Gomez.

There not much change in polling following the first two debates so what do candidates need to do to get the win?
Maurice Cunningham, professor of political science at UMass Boston, joined NECN with insight.

What does Gomez need to do to win?

Cunningham said, “Something we don’t foresee has to happen to change the dynamic of this race. If it doesn’t, Markey will prevail.”

He said that he is not sure why Gomez is not receiving more support from the National Republicans, especially since it has been a reasonably close race.
