(NECN: Jeff Saperstone) - Crews in Waltham, Massachusetts, were on the scene of a four-alarm fire at a multi-level home that spread to another building.

The fire started at a building on Charles Street Tuesday night.

All that remains of one of the homes is a burnt-out frame, but neighbors say that building was under construction.

The fire spread to the building at 51 Charles St, which had people inside, but neighbors say everyone got out safely.

One firefighter was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
