(NECN: Scot Yount, Boston) - People in East Boston on Saturday expressed their anger over a proposed resort-style casino at Suffolk Downs in East Boston.

Residents held signs that read, "No Eastie Casino" as they expressed concerns over traffic and other ills that they believe will befall their community if the casino is allowed.

The signs and leafletting are in anticipation of a meeting Monday night on the plan.

NECN reporter Scot Yount has more on the story.
