(NECN) - Aaron Carter reportedly got a *not so warm* welcome to Boston.
The singer told TMZ he was jumped by four men Saturday.
Carter says they told him, “This is the town of the new kids”, as in “New Kids on the Block”.
There are some photos of the aftermath on Carter's Instagram.
He says he got in a few hits as well before the men took off.

Funny guy Jim Carrey is getting serious about violence.
On Twitter, Carrey told his fans that he will no longer endorse the upcoming flick "Kick Ass 2", due to the level of violence.
Carrey stars in the film, but says he feels differently about the film's violence after the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
