(NECN/CSNNE) – Boston Celtics Coach Doc Rivers was part of the 1st Annual Sports Leadership Breakfast, sponsored by Dunkin’ Donuts.

It was held June 26 at Fenway Park and was hosted by the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national nonprofit committed to providing all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.

The panel included Boston Celtics Coach Doc Rivers, Boston Red Sox Manager Bobby Valentine, Harvard Men’s Basketball Coach Tommy Amaker, Boston College Men’s Hockey Coach Jerry York and PCA Founder Jim Thompson.

Doc and Bobby V both agreed parents shouldn’t get involved with their children’s coaches.
