Man Arrested for Robbery, Assault of Pizza Delivery Driver

Jonathan Wilson, 21, of Somersworth, NH, to be arraigned on multiple charges.

A New Hampshire man has been arrested in connection with the robbery and assault of a delivery driver from the Somersworth House of Pizza on July 2.

Jonathan Wilson, 21, of Somersworth was initially arrested on July 10 and charged with one count of credit card fraud and one count of receiving stolen property, stemming from the unauthorized use of a credit card in both Somersworth and Rochester on May 11 and 12.

Wilson was able to obtain $1,200 through those fraudulent transactions.

Wilson was then subsequently charged with one count of burglary in connection with the break in and theft of a large amount of cash from the Somersworth VFW. That burglary occurred between the evening hours of June 15 and the morning of June 16.

While in custody on those three charges, investigators were able to develop information linking Wilson to the July 2 violent attack and robbery of a delivery driver.

Wilson was formally charged with the robbery while in custody at the Strafford County House of Corrections in Dover, while awaiting his arraignment on the other charges.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
