(NECN) - Police in North Andover, Mass. are searching for a serial bank robber.

Police say the man entered the Stop 'n Shop on Route 114 in North Andover around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

He passed the teller at the Citizens Bank branch inside the grocery a note demanding cash. The note also stated he had planted explosives inside the store.

The teller asked the man to remove his sunglasses, which was when the man fled without any cash.

Stop 'n Shop was evacuated, but police found no bombs.

The store says it lost $10,000 worth of food left in carts during the hour and a half the store was evacuated.

Police believe this is the same man wanted for robberies in Salem, N.H. and in Chelmsford and Reading, Mass.
