Broadside: Mohegan Sun Makes a Deal

Mohegan Sun CEO Mitchell Etess talks about the deal struck with the city of Boston over a potential resort casino at Suffolk Downs

"We are required and are ready to market to them right away so we can build quicker, we can get up and running quicker with our business levels, so there are so many reasons why we're the best choice," he said.

There's also an upcoming ballot question in November to completely kick casinos out of the Bay State, something Etess is against.

"I think people in Massachusetts don't really understand how thoughtful the legislation was, not in terms of the selection process, in terms of how they divided up where the casino markets are," he said.
