(NECN) - Two Massachusetts families are eagerly awaiting the return of loved ones who have been freed, after being kidnapped in Egypt.

Reverend Michel Louis and Lissa Alphonse were taken last Friday, while on a bus traveling through Cairo.

The family of Rev. Louis was concerned because he is diabetic. They spoke with him on the phone on Monday, and he said he is doing fine.

It is still not clear when Rev. Louis and Alphonse will return to Massachusetts.

International Relations Professor Joe Wippl of Boston University spent 35 years working with the CIA overseas.

He joined "The Morning Show" to discuss the situation in Egypt, as well as other international affairs.
