(NECN) - It seems to be happening more and more:  major companies getting infiltrated by hackers.    

But when a major Internet company with hundreds of millions of users is hacked – resulting in hundreds of thousands of passwords stolen – it raises some eyebrows concerning security.

That’s exactly what happened to Yahoo! last week – and the hackers say it was all too easy.

Alex Horan, a senior product manager at Core Security, joins NECN Business.

Horan says in regards to security, Yahoo! made all the wrong moves

He also shares what users should do as precautions to ensure the safety of their accounts.
