2 arrested in NH home invasion, armed robbery

ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police have arrested two men accused of in a home invasion and armed robbery of an elderly man in Rochester.

Authorities say 33-year-old Jonathan A. Bolz of Rochester was arrested Thursday on charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Authorities say 22-year-old Daniel Springer of Sanford, Maine, was arrested Friday on armed robbery and fugitive from justice charges.

Police say the two robbed an elderly man in a wheelchair in his home on June 27. Authorities say the men knocked on the door and pretended to be police. One of the men appeared to have a small gun. Police say they ordered the man to give them prescription drugs. The man was not harmed.

Bolz was being held on $25,000 cash bail. Springer is awaiting extradition back to New Hampshire.
