Sharon, Mass. woman charged in accident that killed pregnant woman

STOUGHTON, Mass. (AP) - Police say a pregnant woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Stoughton and the driver is facing a vehicular homicide charge.
Police say they responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a car around 8:45 p.m. Sunday.
The Enterprise reports that police and firefighters attempted life-saving aid before the victim was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver, identified as 46-year-old Karen Blau of Sharon, was arrested at the scene and is expected to charges including motor vehicle homicide in Stoughton District Court on Monday.
It was not clear if she had a lawyer.
The death remains under investigation.
