Habitual Flasher Sentenced to Months in State Prison

A habitual flasher arrested by Brookline, Massachusetts Police will spend months in state prison.

John A. Beyers, 68, admitted to exposing himself to children at the Coolidge Corner branch of the Brookline Public Library on two separate days in September of 2013. Police identified him by comparing surveillance video to his photo in the sex offender registry and arrested him at his home two days after the second incident.

Beyers pled guilty to two counts of open and gross lewdness and two counts of annoying and accosting a person of the opposite sex. He was sentence to 30 to 36 months in Massachusetts state prison, followed by five years of probation.
