Worcester, Massachusetts, Police are investigating a pedestrian-involved crash that left a man in critical condition.
A 23-year-old male was struck on Stafford Street around 3:15 p.m. Friday. He is in critical condition with serious head, chest, and lower body injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was entering the crosswalk near the entrance to Webster Square Plaza when a vehicle, operated by a 48-year-old Worcester man, struck the pedestrian.
Investigators say it is likely that the motorist will be charged.
