Report: Patriots' Denard had 1-2 beers night of DUI arrest

(NECN) – There's been a potentially interesting development in the Alfonzo Denard case.

Boston Globe’s Ben Volin tweeted the Patriots had one or two beers and slept for about four hours before he got behind the wheel on the night he was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Nebraska.

Volin also tweeted that some believe Denard may have been targeted by police, this after Denard was convicted of assaulting an officer last year. He’s due back in court next month.
