Police in Fall River, with the help of Massachusetts State Police, on Wednesday arrested 20 suspected drug dealers.
An additional 18 suspects have been identified and are presently being sought.
The targets of the sweep are charged with offenses related to the distribution of heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana within the city.
The sweep was part of a targeted effort aimed at interdicting street level drug sales.
