A great white shark was tagged off the coast of Chatham, Massachusetts for the first time this season, officials announced Thursday.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, which was working with the Massachusetts Shark Research Program, says the shark is estimated to be around 12-feet long.
Experts are waiting to review footage to determine the shark's gender.
