Judge Rules Marathon Bombing Suspect's Friend Must Stay in Jail

Judge says he's not sure Khairullozhon Matanov will show up in court

A friend of the deceased Boston Marathon bombing suspect will remain in jail, a judge ruled Thursday.

In the ruling, the judge said he is not sure Khairullozhon Matanov will show up in court.

Matanov has been held without bail since his arrest in May. He's been charged with impeding the investigation into the bombings. Matanov is a native of Kyrgyzstan and has previously been called a flight risk by a judge.
