(NECN) - Obamacare is back in the headlines under new rules taking effect Aug. 1.

American women will now be eligible to receive the following eight services without having to hand over an insurance co-pay:

They are: Well-woman visits -like checkups, gestational diabetes screenings for pregnant women, hpv testing - which can reduce the risk for cervical cancer, STD counseling, HIV testing, breastfeeding support and supplies and domestic violence screening.

But one more requirement - free access to contraception and the requirement that all employers offer it - still has some religious groups upset.

A Colorado company won a reprieve from that contraception rule in a Federal Court last week opening the door for more legal challenges.
