(NECN) - A new drug from a local company, Biogen, is showing promise in the battle against Lou Gehrig's disease, or ALS.

That is the topic of this week's cover story in the Boston Business Journal. There are just 30,000 patients with ALS in the country and the article focuses on one of them. The author of the article, Julie Donnelly, joins us in the studio to discuss her piece and the potential new drug.
