Ex-NFL Player Titus Young Arrested Again

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young has been arrested again — this time for battery.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says Young was arrested July 9 on suspicion of felony battery with serious bodily injury for an alleged altercation with another man.

Details weren't released.

He's jailed on $105,000 bail. An after-hours call Monday to his attorney, Brian Hurwitz, wasn't immediately returned.

The 24-year-old Young was arrested a day before he was supposed to appear in Orange County court, where he's pleaded not guilty to 11 charges stemming from a May break-in at a San Clemente home.

Young has had a series of other arrests.

His father has said Young's personality changed after he sustained a concussion during his 2011 rookie year. The Lions released him last year.
