(NECN) - Greg Wayland talks to Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown, recently back from Afghanistan.

The two discuss the trip: where we go from here, the safety and security of the soldiers, areas that are flourishing, and the view of friends versus enemies.

They also discuss Mayor Menino, President Obama, Osama Bin Laden and terrorism, our fiscal crisis, the government's job report, his campaign support and the Eric Fehrnstrom fake Twitter account controversy.

Brown even uses a metaphor of the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox working together for the Jimmy Fund, something Bostonians and New Yorkers should be able to understand.
