(NECN: Greg Wayland, Boston, MA) – Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown is assessing his time in Afghanistan. He was there for his National Guard duty, but he was also monitoring things for his role as senator.

Brown later bemoaned the new Labor Department job figures, which showed zero growth for August. He is waiting to hear what the President has to say about that next week.

Greg Wayland spoke one-on-one with Senator Brown.
