Outbreak Panic: Is It Safe to Bring Ebola Patient to U.S.?

Two Americans with Ebola are set to be brought to the United States for treatment but their travels have prompted national worry for a potential stateside outbreak. Dr. Kent Brantly, a physician working for the evangelical relief organization Samaritan's Purse, and Nancy Writebol, a nurse's assistant with Serving in Mission are being flown back to the U.S. for treatment at a special facility in Atlanta after having contracted the virus in Liberia. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says if handled properly, it's not dangerous to bring the infected Americans to the facility as Ebola is spread through bodily fluids and is not airborne.
