Woman dies in Salem, NH crash

(NECN) - A woman has died after her car collided with a tractor trailer on Route 111 in Salem, N.H. Monday.

The woman, driving a 2009 Mazda, was traveling eastbound on Route 111 when she crossed into the westbound lane, into the path of a 2002 Kenworth tractor trailer, according to police.

There were no other occupants in the Mazda and no other injuries have been reported.

The Salem Police Traffic Reconstruction Team and the New Hampshire State Police are currently investigating.

Police are reporting that the road will be closed for approximately four hours and are urging drivers to avoid Route 111 in Salem, N.H.
