(NECN) - If Cher could turn back time, she'd probably rethink what she said about Miley Cyrus.
The music legend took to Twitter, saying she is a little ashamed of comments she made about Cyrus' controversial VMA's performance.
In one of the tweets, Cher said Miley was "pushing the envelope - and being an artist" and called the performance brilliant.
She clarified the tweets weren't an apology, but a reminder to herself to "practice her principles."

It turns out that Zac Efron's shocking rehab stint wasn't his only one this year and it was actually his second after a major relapse.
That's according to TMZ.
Sources tell the site Efron has struggled with cocaine for over two years and has also tried “Molly.”
Hhe got some professional help in March, but relapsed when he began shooting Seth Rogan's film "Neighbors."
Once that film wrapped up, Efron reportedly checked himself back into an outpatient rehab program.

It's a second dose of baby love for Guilian and Bill Rancic!
Bill told “Life and Style” magazine that the couple has everything in place for their surrogate to carry their second child.
That surrogate also carried the couple's first little one, Edward Duke.
