(NECN) - There are concerns about the dangerous party drug “Molly” in Providence, R.I. and people attending an event Friday night at the Dunkin Donuts Center will see plenty of police.
Officers will be searching bags looking for the drug at the "Barstool Blackout Tour Foam Party".
They'll also remove impaired people from the event.
“Molly” is a form of ecstasy.
It's blamed for several overdoses in the northeast.
Olivia Rotondo, 20, from Rhode Island died after taking molly at a New York music festival.
“Molly” is suspected in the death of Brittany Flanigan of New Hampshire at the House of Blues in Boston.
