SEARSMONT, Maine (AP) - Maine State Police say a trooper has been involved in a shooting in Searsmont that injured a man.
Police say the confrontation took place at a house Friday afternoon.
The man at the home was wounded; the trooper was not injured.
State police say the Maine attorney general's office is investigating, which is customary with all officer-involved shootings.
