Deadly car crash in Sutton, Mass.

(NECN: Katelyn Tivnan: Sutton, Mass.) - Police say a 22-year-old male was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 11 a.m. Wednesday on the Route 146 on ramp to the central turnpike.

The car was severely damaged and burned, causing the ramp to be closed as workers shifted through debris.

Sutton police say the man was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center for treatment and was later pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.
