(NECN) - The economy grew at a rate of 2.5 percent this past quarter, up from 1.1 percent in the first quarter. Cathy Minehan, former president of the Federal Bank of Boston, gives her perspective.

Minehan also talks about her role in the city of Boston to work on eliminating pay disparities between women and men. Plus, she discusses teaching women to be business leaders at Simmons School of Management, where she is the dean.
