(NECN) - Nationally, Ron Paul is among those trailing far behind Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in his pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.
But in New Hampshire, Paul is running second only to leader Romney, and the congressman from Texas believes he can raise the funds and the get the momentum because his economic freedom message is appealing to conservatives, and his foreign policy message of ending the war in Afghanistan is drawing interest from progressives.
