Man shot dead in Waltham, Mass.

(NECN) - Police in Waltham, Massachusetts say they don't believe a deadly shooting there last night was random.
Police say 29-year-old Adam Coveney was found shot at 879 Lexington street around 11 p.m. last night. He was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

17-year-old Benjamin Peirce of Newton, Massachusetts is charged in the shooting.
Police are telling the public that they shouldn't feel as if they are in danger.

Waltham Police and State Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting, and have so far made no arrests.
