Classes at the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs were canceled Monday because of a power outage.

The school said there was a significant power outage at UConn Storrs and all Storrs-based in-person classes and all online classes were canceled for the entire day and evening on Monday.

Power has been restored.

Gampel Pavilion has had power and UConn said tonight’s NCAA women’s basketball second-round game at 9 p.m. at will be played as scheduled.

The school previously said all Storrs-based in-person classes and all online classes would be canceled until noon but has extended that.
