Dyed money turns up in change machines

(NECN: Tom Langford, Taunton, Mass.) - Business owners in Southeastern Massachusetts are getting an unpleasant surprise. Money that got dyed red during three recent bank robberies is turning up in their change machines.

At Prestige Car Wash in Taunton, Massachusetts, you'd expect people to come and clean their car, but last week, police say, three bank robbers came here to clean there money.

The Drory brothers found the dye-stained money when they opened up their change machine. The money got dyed during three recent robberies. The Drory's found out about it when a police detective stopped by.

The robbers also used change machines at the brothers' other car washes in Brockton and Canton.
