(NECN: Julie Loncich) - Police have charged a 29-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection with a missing University of New Hampshire student's death.

Police charged Seth Mazzaglia of Dover, N.H., and currently have 19-year-old Lizzi Marriott's vehicle. However, her body is still missing.

Marriott was last seen Tuesday night on campus, and her cell phone last pinged shortly after 10 p.m. that night.

The NH Attorney General confirmed the UNH sophomore was dead, and announced they already had a suspect in custody, Mazzaglia. Mazzaglia was charged after an exhaustive search of his apartment.

Late Friday night, officials closed off the area around Peirce Island in Portsmouth, N.H., where they continued to search on Saturday.

Julie Loncich has more on the story in the attached video.
