(NECN) – Books are a useful gift for any age, whether they’re on a tablet or paper.

Starting Oct. 17, books will take over Boston.

Our Suffolk in the City Student Reporter Dan McCarthy joined NECN with more on the Boston Book Festival.

More than 17,000 are expected to come out for the free event.
