UPDATE (4:09 p.m.) - U.S. Coast Guard says this search was suspended as of 12:50 p.m. and the report is being filed as a false alarm.

(NECN) - The Coast Guard is hoping to find the owner of a kayak found adrift near Nahant, Mass. Monday morning.

They released a picture of the green and grey inflatable kayak.
It was found just after eight o'clock Monday morning.

Massachusetts environmental police and Nahant police are conducting shoreline searches.
If you recognize the kayak or have any information you're asked to call the Coast Guard.
