(NECN: Jackie Bruno) – The World Series between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals is expected to bring plenty of business to the city of Boston.

Lulu’s Sweet Shop in the North End made a delivery of special cupcakes to the Red Sox Organization.

A fresh coat of red paint was applied to Bill’s Bar.

It’s all part of the excitement and preparation as businesses in the area prepare for Game 1 of the World Series.

Sausage Company, a hotspot for hungry fans on Yawkey Way is preparing to serve up plenty of food.

One employee said, “It’s honestly an immeasurable amount. It really is. Just cases and cases and cases.”
